While we’d like to point out all the trash collected from the
land part of the cleanup I would like to note they had a
few more folks than we did…about 300 more in fact…..
We did this with only 16 hardy trashed minded folks!
Hey you can check out the photo from two different cameras in the albums below….
So next time you on the Elm Fork be sure and thank the
hard work and effort of the volunteers for KLB and their
fearless leader Amy with KLB, hope we see you on the
water too! AND SOON!

Keep Lewisville Beautiful
and one more thing…
Were not the only ones that trash makes us crazy
Congrats to the “most trash” winners too..
Your KPC performance paddling

S4 and it’s November too,
you know that means ………
……it’s finally getting a little cooler
here in North Texas!
and in addition we were also sporting our Congressional
from the Honorable Kenneth F. Sheets, and I quote
“in honor of your service”
that means if you helped with the trash in 2013,
have been valued and appreciated
beyond just me!
We also have a super cool flag that flew over the Capital!!!
I had to hang it down because I had only 1 tree!
Thank you to all the volunteers that show up rain or shine!
Grab the trash by the throat…. and squeeze!
I’m not saying that cleaning up with KPC will make you
a super hero (it does in my mind!!) but you
just may feel
like a super hero!
1 2 . 1 4 . 2 0 1 3 is our last WRL Cleanup for 2013
November 8, 2013
did you know……….…..only (2) more chances
to get down and dirty
with KAYAKPOWER and our 2nd Saturday Shoreline
monthly trash extravaganza on the shores of WRL…
Did you know we have been a AAS Group since 2003?
And the forecast is for lightly scattered trash with a slight
chance of some really big stuff drifting in during the event..
Did you know we have Congressional recognition ?
Did you know we do this EVERY 2nd Saturday?
November the 10th
9am to about noon*

Update Pic’s added!
Well Tyler with the BSA was a lot of fun, in fact it rained…
a lot a couple of days before we got there and
filled up the lake at the state park….
We had paddlers and sup’rs from small to large
and fun was had by all…
We made sure that the family had what we call…quality
water time with kayakpower!
Thanks again to BSA 425 for being such good sports
and putting up the weather and the bad jokes from us!
Need your group on the water for a
fantastic day of fun?
2 1 4 . 6 6 9 . 1 6 6 3
That’s all folks!
