Well we once again started paddling in January for a Cleanup at WRL, it was the only actual event of January.

We had a LCRA training class taught by Ms Grace and supported by Dan in early February along with a cleanup at WRL for February too and finally the polar bears for TRINOW did their open water swim too, 52 degrees… tough group!

WRL CLEANUP

We hit the river in San Marcos for a clean up …the 55th annual no doubt and did the Luling to Zedler Mill run with our friends from the Houston club and had a blast paddling with them! Then of course do our very own WRL clean up the next weekend. MARCH two fer…

April May June July

April showers will fill up our lakes we hope, starting with a BSA event on the 4th, 2nd Sat cleanup on the 11th, L1 cert class ( a couple of spots still open) at Fort Sill in OK the weekend of the 17th and a fun Tri support for DAR on the 26th at Lake Ray Roberts, so yes we do get around! Volunteers needed and don’t forget about the free kayak offer too, 10 supports get you your own hull!

May is one of our favorite months as we team up with HATS for the sons and the daughters at Camp Classen in OK on the weekends of the 2nd the 16th and the 30th O what fun we have planned! We will also be at WRL for our cleanup on the 9th too!

June we are supporting a check point for the worlds hardest canoe race the Texas Water Safari and volunteers are needed! That we weekend of 12th 13th and 14th in Luling on the SMR and… we will support a dry cleanup at WRL too on the 13th so we can keep our streak alive since 2000! Later that month we head out to the Nantahala River on the 27th for some serious ww fun, we have 1 slot let if your interested$$$

July wraps up our Nantahala River trip and we travel back to Big D….. Just in time for 2nd Sat at WRL the 11th.
